Current Campaigns

Our campaigns go beyond awareness.

We aim to address the root causes of cruelty by engaging people, industries, and communities to foster respect for animals. We don’t expect everyone to love every animal, but we do believe everyone can stand against acts of injustice and take part in creating solutions.

End Pigeon Culling. Embrace Humane Solutions
Culling doesn’t work long-term and it harms other animals too. It only treats the symptoms and can even lead to population spikes. The real solution? A multi-pronged approach that tackles...
The Hidden Cruelty of Glue Traps
Glue traps cause immense suffering. Animals stuck on them struggle for hours or even days, tearing skin, breaking limbs, starving. Many end up drowned or crushed. We’re calling for stricter...

Testimonials

What Our Volunteers Say

[ACRES] were fantastic hosts and our students found the visit insightful and enjoyed themselves. We especially appreciated Kalai's answers to our many questions and his sharing about the work that ACRES does and the difficulties faced when advocating for, rescuing, and rehabilitating our local animals. Thank you for inspiring our students in their own animal advocacy efforts on campus.

Education programme
Ever since I started volunteering at Acres, it has been like another family to me with people of similar passion, concerns and ideology towards wildlife spreading the right message to the public. It has been such a fulfilling, grateful, adventurous and memorable journey where I have learnt and I believe changed people’s perspective about wildlife and coexistence.
