#runclimbswimACRES Pushing Our Limits for Animals In Need

For over 14 years, ACRES has been at the forefront of the fight against animal cruelty across Asia. Every day, animals in Singapore and beyond are pushed to their limits—through exploitation, habitat loss, and neglect.

This July, our dedicated ACRES team will be pushing themselves to their physical limits—in solidarity with the animals we fight for—through three extraordinary sporting challenges.

  • On 4 July, Sabrina Jabbar, who works tirelessly to reduce human-macaque conflict, will take on the 42km full marathon at the Sundown Marathon 2015.
  • On 17 July, a team of passionate animal advocates—Priscilla, Samantha, Alicia, Janet, and Li Hao, together with Lionel Dorai, our fundraising lead—will scale the breathtaking Mount Rinjani in Indonesia, climbing 3,726 metres over two days to reach the summit.
  • At the end of July, Naomi Clark and Isabelle Tan, who champion the protection of wild dolphins in Singapore, will each swim 10km (200 laps) in under five hours. They’ll be joined by four other ACRES staff members for this incredible swim challenge.

Together, these efforts form #runclimbswimACRES—a powerful month-long campaign to raise vital funds for our ongoing animal protection work.
